When it comes to workplace safety, construction is right up there with the most dangerous occupations. In 2018, over 20% of workplace fatalities were in construction. Of these deaths, more than half were caused by these "Fatal Four" accident types: falls (33.5%), struck by object (11.1%), electrocutions (8.5%), and being crushed by equipment (5.5%).
