This supercar was created in an attempt to resurrect a long-dormant marque. Not that it succeeded - but it surely left a mark and a legacy that inspired another attempt at the resurrection. That time, a more successful one. Are you familiar with this misunderstood supercar?
Answer Bugatti EB110
The EB110 didn't mark the return of Bugatti as everyone had hoped, but it certainly paved the way for Bugatti to become the supercar manufacturer we know today. The EB110 was simply too ahead of its time - or simply too powerful. The quad-turbocharged 3.5-liter (!) V12 putting out 603 hp was simply too much in 1990. Just like the 0-60 time of 3.14 seconds and the top speed of 220 mph.
