On one hand, it gave us the original PlayStation and The Big Lebowski. On the other, it was marked by multiple armed conflicts and geopolitical disasters all over the world. 

One thing we cannot dispute, though, is that the '90s were a truly golden age for car manufacturers. The oil crisis was over, the economy was booming, and the technological developments of the past decades finally found their way into passenger cars. 

All that resulted in some amazing cars that don't cease to impress us even today. Many of them are considered modern classics today and sell for outrageously large sums of money at auction. 

Over-engineered German sedans, bonkers Italian supercars, fun (yet affordable!) Japanese cars: the 1990s really had it all.
