Somewhat of a forgotten supercar, this elegant performer was misunderstood when it first came out. Namely, because the manufacturer didn't deliver on their promises. In our opinion, though, you shouldn't care because it's still a brilliant car. The question is: do you know it?

The XJ220 was a real marvel - it was just unlucky. Jaguar simply didn't manage to make it into a car they wanted. The naturally-aspirated V12 was dropped in favor of a twin-turbo V6 - and so was AWD, rear-wheel steering, and adjustable suspension. Not that the performance suffered - with the 212 mph top speed, it was the fastest car in the world when it came out in '92. Not to mention how drop-dead gorgeous it is.
