If you saw this view, you'd be nearly 600 feet above the city, looking Southeast at the city in a structure completed in 1962. Maybe you'd be having a nice, romantic night with a lot of promise...but I digress. What structure would you be near the top of?
Answer Space Needle in Seattle
The Space Needle was built for the 1962 World’s Fair, whose theme was “The Age of Space." Aptly, the needle was designed with its trademark spaceship observation deck. Near the top of the tower, the Space Needle has the only 360-degree views of downtown Seattle, Mount Rainier, Puget Sound, and the Cascades and Olympic mountain ranges.
