A staple of Anchorage that attracts thousands of people and lasts 10 days, what is known as "Rondy"?

The Rondy, or the Fur Rendezvous Festival, occurs in Anchorage every February, and has been called by National Geographic Traveler the greatest winter carnival in the world. Events include beard contests, sled dog races, dog weight pulls, beauty pageants and snow sculpture competitions.
