Answer Refrain from walking or driving through flood waters and find an alternate route.
Crossing flood waters is never a good idea. 6 inches of moving water can knock you down and a foot is enough to sweep your car away. Not to mention that you could get injured by floating debris and flood waters might hide the fact that the road has been completely washed away.
