You decided to write your own vows. What's probably NOT a good way to begin?

Revealing a family secret might be a bit too heavy for wedding vows. Your vows should be focused on your partner and, of course, can be about anything you want them to be. But some ideas include telling a funny story to illustrate your love, sharing what that person means to you or what you love about them, and/or telling your partner the promises you intend to keep.
