Often called the Mark Zuckerberg of Russia, Durov also started Vkontakte, Russia's biggest social network, at age 22, later selling a 12% stake for $300 million. He now lives in exile in Dubai, after refusing to comply with the Russian secret service's demand for encrypted data of Vkontakte users.
