Who won Best Actor for playing famous theoretical physicist (and occasional "Big Bang Theory" guest star) Stephen Hawking?

A brilliant scientist, Hawking was diagnosed with ALS in 1963 and given two years to live. He lived another 53 years past that two-year prognosis. He taught at Cambridge for 30 years, held numerous honorary degrees, and authored several books. He was made a Commander of the British empire in 1982.
