Henry Ford built his first vehicle in his personal workshop Detroit in 1896, and founded the Ford Motor Company seven years later in 1903. A few years later, in 1908, the first of the highly successful Model T brand vehicles was produced. Other popular models from Ford include the Mustang and the Explorer.
