Who was the first female fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force?

In 1993, Jeannie Leavitt became the first female fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force. She began training when restrictions on women flying in combat missions were dropped and has more than 3,000 flight hours, including 300 combat hours.
