Who voiced the Grinch in the classic 1966 animated version of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"?

Boris Karloff was both the narrator and the voice of the Grinch in the classic "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." The rest of the cast was uncredited, with Thurl Ravenscroft as the singer of the song ("You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch"), Dal McKennon as Max (the Grinch's dog) and June Foray as Cindy Lou Who. Chuck Jones and Ben Washam co-directed the film.
