Who released her first single, entitled "Ringo, I Love You" under the name of Bonnie Jo Mason?
Answer Cher
Using the pseudonym Bonnie Jo Mason at the start of her career in Los Angeles, California, the artist better known as Cher released her first single entitled, "Ringo, I Love You." The song came out in 1964 as a tribute to the Beatles. "Beatles Blues" played on side B. Radio stations would not play the single because in spite of the girly name, Cher had a very deep voice and they believed it was actually being sung by a male homosexual.
