Who needs to wear a seatbelt in the car?

Every state has a different seat belt law, and all but New Hampshire have some law in place for wearing seat belts. Thirty-four states have primary seat belt laws, which means you can get a ticket for not wearing a seat belt without any other traffic violation. Twenty-nine states, as well as the District of Columbia, also require back seat passengers to wear seatbelts.
