Who created the first Christmas display using electric lights?

Edward H. Johnson first displayed a Christmas tree with electric light bulbs at his home on December 22, 1882. Johnson is widely regarded as the Father of Electric Christmas Tree Lights and started the trend of using electric lights instead of candles to decorate trees.
