Faramir, the brother of the late Boromir (remember, the guy who was once part of the Fellowship but tried to steal the ring from Frodo), leads the way in capturing Frodo and Sam. In order that the Rangers of Ithilien don't kill Gollum, Frodo aids Faramir in capturing him too.
