Answer You stop, kill the zombies, and bring the people with you.
Mental toughness is called for in a crisis, but it must be tempered with common sense and humanity. You must be able to kill the zombies but also think ahead and consider that united, you and the others stand a better chance of surviving. One would hope, too, that you wish to see the others live.
