It does in fact snow on the peaks of the Big Island's mountains, Mauna Kea (13,803') and Mauna Loa (13,678'). Believe it or not, Hawaii has no snakes or squirrels, which is good because the snakes would just eat the squirrels. And the state is one of 4 in the U.S. with a no billboard law.
