Which of the Beatles legally took his wife's maiden name as part of his surname?
Answer John Winston Ono Lennon (Yoko)
John Lennon felt that since Yoko had taken his last name in marriage it was only fair that he do the same. It was not legal for him to change his last given name, so he adopted Ono as a middle name and ceased to use Winston. They were married in in Gibraltar in 1969.
