Albanian born Anjezè Gonxhe Bojaxhiu became Sister Teresa when she joined the cloistered Loreto order in India. She would break the rules and go outside the walls to serve the poor. As punishment, she was ordered to live and work among them, which she did for many years, begging for food and shelter. With several young nuns wanting to assist her, she started the Order of the Missionaries of Charity, becoming Mother Teresa. After her deat,h she was canonized because of her good works as Saint Teresa of Calcutta.
