Which character is Harry Potter's godfather?

Sirius is the black sheep of his family. Sorted into Gryffindor, where he becomes James Potter's best friend, Sirius doesn't share his family's views on pureblood supremacy. He winds up in Azkaban after being framed for James' murder by his former friend, Peter Pettigrew.
