Which architect earned the nickname the "Queen of Curves" and became the first woman to ever receive the prestigious Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004?

Answer Zaha Hadid

Iraq-born Zaha Hadid (1950-2016) broke through the proverbial glass ceiling when she claimed the Pritzker Prize in 2004 - an especially impressive accomplishment given that she had only designed four buildings at the time. She would go on to receive many more awards for her work, including the Design Museum's "Design of the Year" (Britain's top prize) for the Heydar Aliyev Center in Azerbaijan (above).
