12 Angry Men (1957) is a masterclass in tension and dialogue, but it’s hard to pass the Bechdel test when the only women in the movie are... non-existent. The reviewer’s use of the "rage emoji" is a pithy way to point out the total lack of female representation in a 1950s jury room. It’s a great movie, as long as you don't mind a total "no girls allowed" policy.
