Founded in 1872 in the German town of Radeberg, Radeberger Brewery was the first brewery in Germany to exclusively produce the then-novel Pilsner beer. Throughout its history, it became known as the preferred beer of the King of Saxony Frederick Augustus III as well as of Otto von Bismarck, the first chancellor of Germany.
