Where is Dos Equis from?

Dos Equis (Spanish for “two Xs”) is a 4.45% ABV pale lager produced by the Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma Brewery based in the Mexican state of Nuevo León. It was originally created to commemorate the turn of the XX century — hence the name. It is most famous for its 2006 advertising campaign “The Most Interesting Man in the World,” which became an early internet meme.
