When you purchase a tool it comes with a manual. What should you do with it?

Instruction manuals are provided for a reason, and you would do well to not only read them but hang on to them. Develop a system in your shop for filing them in case anything comes up that you aren't sure about. Sometimes they include troubleshooting guides as well.
