Answer Moro Rebellion
The Filipinos were not on board with their occupation by the U.S. As a result, many conflicts broke out, especially amongst the Muslim Filipino Moros, who bucked imperialism. This resulted in the early 20th century Moro Rebellion, which lasted twelve years and ended in the bloody Battle of Bud Bagsak, which Brigadier General John Pershing called, "the fiercest he'd ever seen". He added that the Moros were fearless and "count death as a mere incident".
