When powdered, which of these foods is NOT good for storage?
Answer Avocados
Tomatoes, cheese, and peanut butter can all be dehydrated and powdered for storage in a cool, dark room. The foods have a decent shelf life due to their lack of moisture. Peanut butter will go rancid over time and needs to be used sooner. Almost any food that can be dehydrated can be powdered, but that doesn't mean it will taste good in that form. Avocados, on the other hand, are high in fat content and will go rancid very quickly, not making it worth their dehydration.
