When making jelly or jam, what can be added to the mix if you are short a cup of juice?

Answer Store-bought fruit juice

Any store-bought fruit juice that is compatible with the fruit you are using is fine as a substitute if you run short, but when in doubt, default to apple. While it is really not recommended that you add an entire cup of lemon juice, you will need to add about one tablespoon for every cup of juice for proper acidity.
