When does the Xor gate give an output?
Answer When either, but not both inputs are on
The Xor gate turns on only when one input is on. If both or neither are on, it does not give an output. The only difference between an Xor gate and an or gate is when both inputs are on. It is also known as an Exclusive Or, because if both are on, it does not output.
