Bert and Ernie follow George when he runs back to 320 Sycamore hoping to find his home. When Bert tries to subdue George, Clarence steps in and bites Bert's hand. As Bert has Clarence on the ground, Clarence screams out to the angel Joseph for assistance, and Clarence disappears.
