What's the best way to stay warm in the wilderness?
Answer All three
A wood fire will burn at around 2000'F therefore it takes the cake at keeping you warm. A well made shelter is also very effective if you keep it small, waterproof, well insulated, and closed off to the outside air. Getting yourself wet drops your core temperature much quicker than when you are dry. This is due to the conduction of cold air into the moisture on your skin.
