Scrooge McDuck, along with Huey, Dewey and Louie were forever trying to keep Scrooge's fortune safe from various foes. They often wound up relying on the services of Launchpad McQuack and his plane to help them escape or pursue the enemy. "Duck Tales" first appeared on the Disney Channel in 1987 for over 100 episodes. The series later spawned a spinoff that also featured Launchpad McQuack called "Darkwing Duck."
