Leonard Betts eats cancer, killing those who have it to obtain the cancerous parts of their body. A strange mutant, Betts only appeared in one episode which, airing after the Super Bowl in 1997, was the most-watched episode in X-Files history. At the episode's end, Betts tries to kill Scully, leading her to believe that she has cancer.
