If you are interested in doing underwater welding, you need to get a special certification from an underwater welding school. These schools focus on the diving part of the process. Welds are performed in hyperbaric chambers in pools and, eventually, in the ocean. If you are interested in being an underwater welder, you will be paid more than those who choose to stay on land.
