What should you do when you come to a yield sign?
Answer Slow down and prepare to stop if traffic condiitons require it
Although it is not a stop sign, a yield sign means that someone else has the right of way, whether another lane of traffic or a pedestrian. As you approach the sign, you must slow down and prepare to stop. If there are no cars or pedestrians, then you can continue without stopping.
