What metal is used to kill supersoldiers in The X-Files?

Magnetite is the only known means to kill a supersoldier in the mythology of The X-Files. Scully discovers this when she is cornered by one of the alien creatures, but a vein of magnetite weakens and disintegrates him before he is able to cause her any harm.
