What large seabirds are thought to be good luck when seen by sailors?

Albatrosses are enormous, rare, and beautiful seabirds, so it's no surprise they've been good luck charms for sailors for centuries. The association even made its way into popular poetry when an albatross luckily followed the ship out to sea in The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
