What kind of seed did Jesus say was the smallest of all the others?

Mustard seeds are about 1 to 2 millimeters in diameter. There a different mustard plants--black, brown and white. Mixing them with water and vinegar makes the mustard on your hot dog. Despite Jesus' claim, mustard seeds aren't really the smallest seeds on earth. They're tiny, but the record is held by the jewel orchid, whose millions of seeds are each only 0.05mm in length.
