In a 2012 game between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks, the NFL Referees Association was still in a lockout, and was officiated by replacement referees. At the end of the game, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson launched a pass into the end zone which was first brought in by Packers safety M.D. Jennings, but was later wrestled away by Seahawks receiver Golden Tate. Though the replacement referees ruled the play a touchdown, which won the game for Seattle, the play has since been considered to have been called incorrectly.
