What is the name of Ron's pet rat?

Scabbers was actually Percy's pet rat before he was Ron's. More importantly, Scabbers is actually Peter Pettigrew, who disguised himself as a rat and lived that way for 12 years. He was hiding from the Death Eaters who he feared thought he had betrayed Lord Voldemort — and he would've stayed that way, too, if it wasn't for those meddling kids.
