What is the answer to the final equation in this picture?
Answer 21
At first glance, you might make a mistake on this one. It's easy to overlook the fact that there are two horseshoes grouped together at first, but only one in the final equation. The same goes for boots - when they are first introduced, there are two of them added together, but in the final statement, only one is there. Solving all the equations with this in mind gives a horse value of 10, a single horseshoe value of 2, and a single boot value of 1. Putting that into the final calculation equals 22!
