Although it's not raining cats and dogs, what is snow and rain on Venus?

It's not a "White Christmas" on Venus. When it rains, it pours sulphuric acid. And when it snows, it snows metal. The scorching hot planet melts its metals which become gas and then liquid in its atmosphere, only to rain it down where it freezes with the polar cold temperatures, solidifying again.
