Mother Jones – Mary Harris Jones – helped coordinate strikes as part of the Industrial Workers of the World. She was given the "dangerous" title due to her success in organizing the United Mine Workers union and the Knights of Labor. She further organized children's marches to advocate for child labor laws. The U.S. Senate also called her the “grandmother of all agitators”...sounds like the Senate hasn't changed much.
