In the episode "Gomer Untrains a Dog", Gomer volunteers to train a dog for sentry duty, and chooses Killer. However, Killer won't listen to Gomer, so Gomer pampers him when he's not on duty and the dog becomes too sweet and no longer useful as a guard dog. So much for a killer!
