What country controlled Florida during the War of 1812?

Spain had controlled the Floridian peninsula since the 1500s, briefly transferring it to Britain for a while in the 1700s before getting it back. It still held control over the area during the events of the War of 1812, but shortly afterward would cede the territory to the United States via the 1821 ratification of the Adams-Onís Treaty.
