What book was John Lennon's killer reading at the time of his discovery?
Answer "Catcher in the Rye"
Mark David Chapman shot John Lennon five times, then calmly sat down and proceeded to read a copy of "Catcher in the Rye." He said he could have killed Elizabeth Taylor or three others, but Lennon was easier to find. Incidentally, this is the same book that John Hinkley was reading when he attempted to kill Ronald Reagan, and the same one Lee Harvey Oswald had read before his supposed assassination of John F. Kennedy. (Lennon's Memorial Imagine Peace Tower —Helgi Halldórsson)
