Back in the day, Group A regulations mandated that manufacturers create a minimum of 5000 road-legal versions of their racing vehicles. This meant that BMW had to make the M3 series available to the consumers. As a result, the E30 became a legitimate homologation special. However, the E30 is more than just an angular 3-series. It has revised suspension, bigger brakes and tires, fender flares and a front splitter. No wonder it has remained a cult classic car.
