Well, aren't you special. What are China's two special administrative regions?
Answer Hong Kong & Macau
China's Special Administrative Regions are somewhat autonomous and maintain an element of economic and political independence, but they are still part of China. The two areas that fall under this title are Macau and Hong Kong. Macau was under Portuguese rule until it was promised to be handed over to China in an agreement signed in 1987. Same thing with Hong Kong, except with the British, who signed their agreement in 1984.
